Senior Manager II, World Languages

Description

Plans, manages, and coordinates multifaceted program activities and personnel of world languages curriculum and instruction; exercises leadership to design, create, implement, assess, revise, or adapt a curriculum service or other educational program.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree.
• Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in teaching and/or administration and supervision.
• Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
• Administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.
• Knowledge of philosophy, goals, procedures, organization, and professional specialties of the program.
• Knowledge of public education organization and administrative requirements in specialty.
• Familiarity with applicable regulations, legislations, and policies.
• Skill in teaching adult learners.
• Ability to manage and coordinate programs.
• Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate personnel.
• Ability to establish and maintain a successful cooperative working relationship with appropriate school communities and school-based and central office staff.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, provide professional development, and/or present information to groups.
• Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
