The Nurse Manager, Women's Health, will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment for the Women's Health team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from four-year college or university.
Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience.
Preferred:
Minimum of three (3) years outpatient obstetrics.
Knowledge of obstetrical billing.
Knowledge of Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:
- Management of clinical support staff within women's health department/pod, including, but not limited to Medical Assistants, Coordinators, and Community Health Workers (CHW's).
- Responsible for ensuring follow-up/completion of labs and radiological studies, referrals to Maternal Fetal-Medicine (MFM), etc.
- Develop and implement a process for intake of new OB patients to the practice.
- Develop and implement a process for case management of high-risk pregnancy patients using the State of Texas reimbursable model.
- Ensures practice adheres to clinical standards of care.
- Responsible for documenting and filing any safety-related incidents.
- Ensures all clinical support staff in Women's Health department have sufficient training in women's health policies and procedures during orientation period.
- Serves on committees as assigned.
- Serves as electronic health record (EHR)super user for the department.
- Ensures all clinical support staff in women's health department are trained on system.
- Runs reports from HER.
- Serves as back-up contact to women's health coordinator for urgent/emergent issues from hospital or other partners.
- Provides clinical support for triaging patients.
- Ability to provide clinical support on the floor, as necessary.
