Salary: This is a full-time, (12) twelve-month position for 232 days with an annual minimum salary of $78,237.00. This is a grant funded position and continued employment is contingent upon grant renewal.

Job Summary (Primary Purpose):
  • Support the identification and implementation of effective data management processes and systems for the expansion of Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) strategic compensation across Region 13.
  • Support the objectives of the TIA Regional Support Grant to: 1) increase capacity in districts and to support strategic compensation systems and TIA, and 2) support identified districts as they transition from a traditional compensation system to a robust strategic compensation system based on teacher and instructional leader effectiveness.
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Education/Certificates):
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum three (3) years experience identifying and implementing data systems at the campus and/or district level to track student growth and teacher appraisals
  • Proficiency in supporting campus and district leaders with the implementation of data collection systems
  • Proficient use of technology for data management, workplace productivity, and presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and shared decision making
  • Proficiency in self-directed work, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Education/Certificates):
  • Master's Degree
  • Professional license or certification
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with a campus and/or district to implement their Local TIA Designation System
  • Experience in providing technical training and assistance in an educational setting
  • Ability to analyze state, regional, district and campus data
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of PEIMS, Eduphoria, and DMAC
  • Strong working knowledge of data tracking systems for teacher evaluation and student growth especially as they relate to TIA Local Designation Systems
Major Job Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Serve as a representative of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public Create systems for, and provide support to, districts that are submitting data for their TIA Local Designation System.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to ESC Region 13 clients in the use of DMAC, Eduphoria, and other resources pertaining to TIA
  • Engage directly with identified districts to collect and interpret data to support TIA identification across all district teaching staff.
  • Assist the TIA Lead for ESC Region 13 as needed to support districts in the development and implementation, and expansion/modification, of their Local Designation System.
  • Serve as a member of ESC Region 13, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the educational community and with the public
  • Provide professional development and technical assistance, both online and face-to-face, to campus leaders, district leaders, and internal staff around TIA
  • Attend training and turn around learning via face to face or virtual professional development, implementation support, and coaching to campus and district leadership around the Teacher Incentive Allotment, especially as it pertains to the collection and analysis of student growth and teacher evaluation data
  • Attend TIA meetings, assist with the development of required reports, and when needed, attend Statewide, and State level, TIA meetings with TEA
  • Perform other duties as assigned
