Bold is seeking a Software Engineer to build web and mobile features while delivering on high impact initiatives so that we can meaningfully engage with our members.
To help us achieve our mission, we are looking to hire a Software Engineer who has exposure to building consumer products and eager to grow and develop their skill set while envisioning a world where every aging adult has access to personalized, convenient online workouts This is a full time hybrid role located in LA.

Compensation:
We're committed to an inclusive, consistent, and equitable approach to compensation and anticipate that this position will earn between $120-130k annually. The exact salary will depend on the amount of relevant and transferable experience you bring to the role. You will also receive meaningful equity in the form of a stock option grant.

Key Outcomes:
- Work at a high velocity on a wide variety of web and mobile features that meaningfully engage our members
- Provide meaningful feedback and perform regular code reviews
- Work autonomously to quickly learn new areas of the codebase
- Engage with the team's Mixpanel dashboards and draw insightful conclusions through data
- Develop and run A/B tests to evaluate new features and product changes
The most important skills for the role are*:
- Experience building features end to end (we use React / React Native / Javascript)
- Growth Mindset: Exposure building consumer products and eager to grow and develop their skill set
- Analytical Skills: Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions
- Tenacity: Works quickly and autonomously to overcome complex technical challenges
- Empathy: Cares about our older adult members. We want everyone on our team to learn from our users' challenges and needs, and use that to tailor our product and development roadmap (product)
In addition to the above, it would be great if you also had:
- Experience in a fast paced startup environment and can navigate ambiguity
- Experience working with healthcare data (HIPAA)
