A Day in the Life
In this role, you will work with other Marketers and cross functional partners including Regulatory, R&D, Sales, Legal, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain. In addition to product management, this individual will also lead the downstream strategic initiatives across our DVE portfolio. Responsibilities include:
Function as Global Product Manager for select product(s) within the Medtronic deep venous & embolization portfolio.
Develop and execute annual marketing plan
Lead multi-year strategic plan, including market modeling and forecasting
Partner with MarComm to develop campaigns, positioning, branding
Maintain claims matrix(es)
Develop and launch marketing programs & tools
Understand competitive and market dynamics, distill trends and data into actionable insights
Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to assess the current business environment and make recommendations.
Continuously improve product marketing effectiveness
Establish and maintain a high level of product knowledge for all products within the deep venous & embolization portfolio
Function as strategic lead for new product launch(es) as needed, including volume forecasting, product positioning and messaging, and commercialization planning
Function as the marketing lead for cross-functional strategy development, and lead marketing initiatives resulting from therapy strategy team
Prepare and present regular updates to management
Cultivate physician relationships and gain insights to identify potential market adoption challenges and develop plans to address
Job location: Plymouth, MN
Travel requirement: up to 25%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years' relevant experience (5+ years with MBA)
Prior Product Management experience
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
Strong proficiency in excel, financial models
Nice to Have
MBA
Medical device, pharmaceutical, or health care experience
Previous commercial launch experience
Project and/or Program Management experience
Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic plan of action
Comfort navigating ambiguity with ability to develop strategy and gain consensus
Ability and desire to work in an extremely entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision
