The Commercial Planning & Performance Area Lead supports budget management and financial analytics for the commercial organization. This role is the operational financial partner of the Planning & Performance Lead to consistently provide delivery reporting. This position will provide data and recommendations for depletion, A&P and T&E Budgets, for the Commercial Organization targets.

Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required
Professional Experience
7+ years of experience in finance and Business Operations, preferable in the luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries.
Practical/Technical Knowledge

The Commercial Planning & Performance Area Lead supports budget management and financial analytics for the commercial organization. This role is the operational financial partner of the Planning & Performance Lead to consistently provide delivery reporting. This position will provide data and recommendations for depletion, A&P and T&E Budgets, for the Commercial Organization targets.
Commercial Planning & Performance
- Assists Lead in developing A&P budgets for the General Managers, Market Directors and Field Marketing
- Monitors A&P, T&E and DPP Budget management for General Managers and Market Directors
- Identifies risks and opportunities related to A&P, T&E, and DPP Budgets (incl. Accruals & Deferrals)
- Supports the execution of the reclasses and MAP A&P Budget phasing
- Ad-hoc reporting on market performance & comp data sets (e.g., Nielsen, IRI)
- Supports reconciliation of FAR in partnership with the FAR Team
- Partners with CCI&S on reporting and conducts return on investment analysis on programs and strategic projects
- Provides value feedback to Commercial General Managers on market performance
- Supports training to Commercial Sales team and Brand teams on tools: MAP, Reclasses, Aspire
- Communicates effectively and consistently with key team members and cross functional partners
Profil
Education
Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience required
Professional Experience
7+ years of experience in finance and Business Operations, preferable in the luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries.
Practical/Technical Knowledge
- 3+ years of strong project management experience and skills including goal setting and forward-planning
- Understanding of data & analytics: Ability to apply knowledge and direct application of data & analytics to strategy-setting and commercial use cases
- People development skills and team management
- Demonstrated commercial expertise
- Advanced understanding and experience with data and financial analysis: Overall revenue, margin, and growth
- Collaborate with various partners (Area Leads, Market Leads, Insights Team)
