Job Summary
The Enterprise Architect position is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of Information Technology (IT) architecture models. This position interprets, uses, and applies information contained within IT architecture to inform businesses in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of IT support, and to ensure service is in line with the Harris Health technology, governance, policies, and standards. The role ensures that the overall IT architecture is maintained in a coherent and consistent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality. In addition, the Enterprise Architect will partner with the Chief Technology Officer to communicate the solutions and roadmap to business as well as technology leaders, achieve buy-in from all stakeholders, and ensure that solutions achieve Harris Health's business goals and adhere to enterprise architecture standards. The Enterprise Architect position is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of Information Technology (IT) cloud architecture and operations models. This position interprets, uses, and applies information contained within IT architecture to inform businesses in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of IT support, and to ensure cloud services and operations is are in line with the Harris Health technology, governance, policies, and standards. The role ensures that the overall IT cloud architecture and operational model are maintained in a coherent and consistent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality. In addition,the Enterprise Architect will partner with the Chief Technology Officer to communicate the solutions and roadmap to business as well as technology leaders, achieve buy-in from all stakeholders, and ensure that solutions achieve Harris Health's business goals and adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees: Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
Licenses & Certification:
Certification in Network/Cloud Architecture; From Cisco, AWS, Azure, Google, etc. preferred
Certification; TOGAF/Department of Defense Architecture, or Federal Enterprise Architecture preferred
Work Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience in IT experience in a large Enterprise (5000 employees or more with multiple locations) plus five (5) with IT people management, senior level engineer, consultant, or solution architect role.
Two (2) years work experience in Healthcare preferred
Management Experience: Five (5) years of experience Lead and Implement large scale Enterprise IT project with some Cloud integration
Communication Skills: Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Writing/ Correspondence, Writing/ Reports
Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook, MS Project, PC, Typing
Duties include but are not limited to:
Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and overall cloud systems leadership to influence decisions of executive business leadership, development partners, and industry standards
groups.
Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy,
virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture, including AWS,
Google, Azure and future providers for networking, provisioning, and management
Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and
external platforms, tools, and systems helping the company use the cloud efficiently
Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private, public, and hybrid
cloud models including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Analytical, Design, Mathematics, Research, Statistical, Other; Excellent Customer Service
