Purpose of the Position:
The UAS and Counter UAS Range UAS Scheduling and Operations Manager will manage range planning and operations supporting UAS programs.
Duties / Responsibilities
Project lead for UAS and Counter UAS Range Scheduling Operations
Maintain the configuration of the UAS and Counter UAS Range
Develop and Maintain integration parameters for customers to use the UAS and Counter UAS Range
Conduct scheduling meetings
Support customer technical interchange meetings
Support center direction and strategic analysis of using the UAS and Counter UAS Range
Conduct on site tours for potential customers
Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. with 3 - 3.5 years of full-time work experience or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience (Bachelor's or Master's degree required)
Ability to lead project teams in accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements
Ability to schedule and plan operations and testing
Familiar with and supporting the conduct of testing and training
Experience in UAS operations
Commercial Pilot and experience piloting UAS in disaster and in theater operations environments.
Ability to communicate, collaborate sand creatively handle scheduling challenges
Desired Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Science or Engineering or Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering, scientific or aviation management field
Experience in CFI and CFII is deemed valuable

$137,380 - $144,505
