The Role:
This position is a key member of our Finance Transformation team, reporting to the Finance Transformation Lead. This position plays a critical role in collaborating with the Finance Transformation team and other business partners to assess, evaluate and implement processes and systems across the group of companies. This position will work closely with other accounting teams, various business departments, and upper management and will be instrumental in driving finance transformation changes across the business.

Base salary range: $93,100.00 - $132,650.00 per year, depending on qualifications
Annual Target Incentive: Level 3, 9.5% target
Targets are calculated using eligible earnings during plan year participation. Payout, if earned, is based on company and individual performance for each plan year and may range from 0% - 200% of target. Targets are subject to change in subsequent plan years. Must be employed by September 30 in order to receive any prorated payout.

The Role:

This position will work closely with other accounting teams, various business departments, and upper management and will be instrumental in driving finance transformation changes across the business.
Day to Day:
- Analyze existing processes, procedures and controls, including mapping out end-to-end processes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with business partners and process owners to streamline workflows, eliminate redundancies, and enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on goals and objectives for finance transformation projects.
- Manage finance transformation projects, in conjunction with the Finance Transformation Lead, including communication of progress, risks and any needed mitigation.
- Active involvement in evaluation of technology platforms, technology migrations, data transfers, and system implementations, as needed.
- Develop and execute change management plans to support the adoption of new processes and systems.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop comprehensive finance integration plans for incorporating acquired entities.
- Oversee the execution of finance integration activities of acquired entities, including process synchronization, technology migration, and training, as needed.
- Lead, contribute to, or participate in ad hoc projects as required.
- Demonstrates appropriate leadership and decision-making behaviors.
- Support the Company's commitment to a culture of safe work practices.
Come on your first day with:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certificate are required.
- Minimum five years of applied accounting experience. Public accounting experience is preferred.
- Experience in a utility operation and knowledge of standard utility accounting and public utility reporting and filing requirements are highly desired.
- Experience in process improvement and process automation.
- Experience in system implementations.
- Knowledge and experience in applying US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting are required.
- Experience using SAP or another ERP system is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Requires strong attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with limited supervision.
- Requires outstanding ethical standards and values consistent with those of the Company.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across an organization and in a team environment.
