Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Work in a Supportive & Collaborative Environment:

The Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is a growing and highly collaborative team group of 15 faculty hospitalists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers. We provide care for children at Brenner Children's Hospital who have a broad range of medical needs and diagnoses, including "bread and butter" pediatrics, co-management needs, complex care patients and patients requiring our Intermediate Care Unit. Our care model centers around three inpatient teaching services which have learners across the continuum, including medical students, pediatric residents, PA students, and PHM fellows. The academic environment is rich with opportunities in research, quality improvement, patient safety, advocacy, medical education, informatics, and public health. Pediatric Hospitalist Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited M.D. or D.O. medical school
  • Current North Carolina medical license BC/BE in Pediatrics
  • Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine is encouraged
