Empirical is actively seeking a SharePoint Developer, a pivotal role in our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, configuring, and administering the SharePoint website, finding solutions to enhance business activity, and customizing sites based on the client's needs. This role requires experience in converting processes into SharePoint workflows, interfacing with project managers, and following systems engineering life cycle best practices. You will work closely with government staff and other contractors, contributing significantly to our collaborative environment.

The SharePoint Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions for our government clients. This role requires strong technical skills in SharePoint development. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions that meet security requirements and drive mission success.
SharePoint Solution Development:
- Design, develop, and customize SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts to meet client requirements.
- Implement advanced SharePoint functionalities, such as document management, content types, metadata, and search.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Integrate SharePoint with other systems and platforms, including Microsoft 365, CRM systems, and third-party applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability between SharePoint and other systems.
Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with government security requirements and standards.
- Implement security features and configurations to protect sensitive data and ensure data integrity.
Technical Expertise:
- Utilize .NET, SQL, C#, and other programming languages and technologies to extend SharePoint functionality and integrate with external systems.
- Stay updated on the latest SharePoint development trends, tools, and best practices.
Documentation and Training:
- Create technical documentation, including design documents, code repositories, and deployment guides.
- Provide training and support to end users and administrators on SharePoint usage and best practice
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 6 years of experience in SharePoint development, customization, and integration.
- Proficiency in .NET, SQL, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and other relevant programming languages and technologies.
- Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Work requires a willingness to occasionally work extra hours to meet deadlines
- Our federal clients require individuals to complete a background investigation and credit check, as well as the ability to obtain a security clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
