Payroll Manager - Multi-State

We're seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of our client's payroll process. You'll lead a team, ensure legal compliance, and implement improvements to streamline operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Guarantee accurate and timely payments for salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise payroll staff for efficient operations.
• Navigate federal, state, and local payroll laws, staying updated and implementing adjustments.
• Develop and maintain payroll policies and processes within HRIS for accurate processing.
• Conduct payroll audits, reconcile accounts, and swiftly resolve discrepancies.
• Generate payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments (field teams, HR, Finance) for data accuracy.
• Manage payroll systems, troubleshoot issues, and work with HRIS for upgrades.
• Address payroll inquiries from employees with clear and timely responses.

You're the Ideal Candidate if You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll management experience with a proven track record.
• Multi-state payroll processing knowledge, including California.
• Deep understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Expertise in payroll software and systems.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
