Key Responsibilities:
- Guarantee accurate and timely payments for salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise payroll staff for efficient operations.
- Navigate federal, state, and local payroll laws, staying updated and implementing adjustments.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies and processes within HRIS for accurate processing.
- Conduct payroll audits, reconcile accounts, and swiftly resolve discrepancies.
- Generate payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments (field teams, HR, Finance) for data accuracy.
- Manage payroll systems, troubleshoot issues, and work with HRIS for upgrades.
- Address payroll inquiries from employees with clear and timely responses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of payroll management experience with a proven track record.
- Multi-state payroll processing knowledge, including California.
- Deep understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Expertise in payroll software and systems.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
