Position Summary:
The Leadership Development Coach Lead will lead the development and implementation of high-quality internal school leader preparation pathways and effective new school leader programs and supports to ensure that principals and assistant principals are well prepared, well-supported, and able to positively impact teacher growth and student learning to help every child succeed. The director will be responsible for collaborating across the district to put in place systems to develop, support, and retain school leaders - from aspiring school leader experiences through their beginning year and beyond. Specific functions residing on the team will include: strategic implementation of internal pipeline program for aspiring school leaders; development of a professional learning trajectory for new school leaders; rollout of a comprehensive model of school leader supports; and strategic partnerships with key school leader development partners to further establish a comprehensive network of growth and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in education or related field
Experience:
Five (5) years successful school administrator experience
3 years successful school leader coaching experience
Successful experience in instructional planning, professional development, curriculum
development, assessment, and implementation
Experience in an urban school district is preferred
Demonstrated success leading strategic education initiatives
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.:
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma Administration Certification
Deep knowledge and experience with Adult Learning Theory
Instructional knowledge and expertise in professional development, curriculum and
instruction, transformational leadership, and instructional technology
Proficient in the use of technology
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
