Description:
- Position Summary
- The Clinical Manager is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the care provided by licensed and certified team members, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech language pathologists, social workers, home health aides. This position supports the Agency's mission, values, programs and initiatives by managing team members and ensuring quality, efficient and effective patient care is being provided.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education:
- Physical Therapy: Bachelor's degree required, Master's or Doctoral degree preferred
- Occupational Therapy: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's or Doctoral degree preferred
- Speech Language Pathology; Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology; Master's preferred
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure in appropriate discipline
- Experience:
- Three years of clinical experience; supervisory and home health management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OASIS required, OASIS certification preferred.
- Active, unencumbered professional license to practice in the State of Maine licensure.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Record, OASIS, and PDGM.
- Working knowledge regarding content, interpretation and implementation of agency policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage in an inter professional team to achieve Agency goals and quality care outcomes.
- Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
