Your Tasks:
Your Skills:
- Define and implement the department's organizational reporting structure.
- Determine staffing requirements and fill positions as necessary.
- Determine and implement effective and equitable staff pay.
- Determine how to source equipment/labor/resources/manufactured goods - in house outsource, low cost country, sister company.
- Estimate project resources and timing for proposed company projects.
- Assign staff appropriately to projects and other tasks.
- Assure departmental input and compliance with project schedules.
- Define procedural goals and direct development of departmental procedures.
- Direct the development of effective designs of local and international origin.
- Understand Drr competition and project specific competition picture.
- Provide budget estimates and control budgets
- Support the selection and communications of suppliers and Purchased Equipment vendors
- Ensure quality and sales proposal procedures are followed
- Support and liaise with other departments as required
- Act as liaison with Executive Management
- Implement product and calculation tools standards, and be able to develop estimating plan for new products/solution
- Act as the company's senior proposal representative in internal and external company interactions
- Good leadership and mentor skills
Your Skills:
- Broad understanding of engineering principles, methods, tools, and limitations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Able to maintain confidentiality when required.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to manage time and determine priorities.
- No travel restrictions.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering field.
- Minimum 15 years of engineering experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive paint finishing.
