Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, empower and cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Oversee equipment troubleshooting and repair activities.
- Coordinate with multi-functional teams to address equipment issues promptly.
- Ensure timely resolution to minimize production downtime.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment reliability.
- Build and maintain a schedule to provide 24/7 on-call support.
- Ensure technicians can respond to emergencies promptly and optimally.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and incidents.
- Generate reports on equipment performance and reliability.
- Identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Implement standard processes to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors for technical support and spare parts procurement.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with safety laws and company policies.
- Promote a safety-first culture within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal leadership and communication capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
- Proficient in Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM).
- Technical expertise in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Leadership skills to build and motivate a hard-working, result driven team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, documentation, and reporting.
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
