We are looking for a Manager of Equipment Support to lead and guide a team of Equipment Support Engineers and Technicians. This group is responsible for providing 24/7 coverage and support to fix and repair equipment, ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, empower and cultivate a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Oversee equipment troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Coordinate with multi-functional teams to address equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure timely resolution to minimize production downtime.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment reliability.
• Build and maintain a schedule to provide 24/7 on-call support.
• Ensure technicians can respond to emergencies promptly and optimally.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and incidents.
• Generate reports on equipment performance and reliability.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Implement standard processes to improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors for technical support and spare parts procurement.
• Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety laws and company policies.
• Promote a safety-first culture within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal leadership and communication capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
• Proficient in Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM).
• Technical expertise in equipment maintenance and repair.
• Leadership skills to build and motivate a hard-working, result driven team.
• Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, documentation, and reporting.
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
