Description

We are currently seeking a Foreclosure Litigator with 3-5 years of solid experience in Litigation for our Foreclosure Dept. At Brock & Scott, we are a growing practice with opportunities for an experienced professional. A successful candidate would be responsible for handling foreclosure matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure-related pleadings.
• Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures.
• Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings.
• Regular client meetings/updates.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Background in residential lending, foreclosure, and title litigation a plus.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities and effective communication skills for client interactions are essential. Applicants must be admitted to practice in New Jersey.

• Juris Doctorate.
• Experience as an NJ Foreclosure Litigator
• Member in good standing of the New Jersey Bar.
• Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
• Provides exceptional client service.
• Identifies and resolves problems promptly.
• Conscientious concerning work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
