Are you a dynamic HR professional ready to take on a pivotal role in an industry leading cannabis company?

We are seeking a Senior HR Manager to join our clients team and provide site-level supervision for approximately 1000 employees across multiple locations.

About the Role:

As the Senior HR Manager, you will:

  • Supervise HR operations across various facilities
  • Manage employee relations to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Champion the Leadership Program to develop and nurture leadership talent within the organization.
  • Advise Facility Managers and Plant Managers on HR programs and initiatives, providing on-demand HR support.
  • Balance strong employee relations, change management, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Oversee WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) management.
  • Participate in right-sizing initiatives to ensure optimal workforce structure.
  • Address harassment issues, attendance, and performance concerns effectively.
  • Collaborate with executives to drive strategic HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, change management, and leadership development.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base salary: $100k to $120k
  • Health benefits from day one (including HSA)
  • RRSP matching and additional perks
  • Hybrid role with 2-3 days a week on-site
  • Regional travel will be required
