ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Supplier Strategy Manager provides dedicated support to Product Champions, focusing on consolidating and onboarding new suppliers. This role oversees supplier positioning and consolidation projects, as well as annualizing supplier rebate and contract negotiations. It is not limited to a single product line or market but requires adaptability across markets.

  • Manage breadth and depth of supplier product offerings, working with product champions on portfolios to meet changing market needs.
  • Oversight on consolidating supplier's efforts, pulling together internal resources to successfully evolve into a more efficient and effective market offering.
  • Actively involved in successfully onboarding new suppliers.
  • Support company market expansion efforts by aligning supplier strategy.
  • Supplier contract negotiations.
  • Support marketing campaigns through idea generation and supplier negotiation and alignment.
  • Support company strategic planning initiatives.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supplier management, product management, marketing, or sales.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven contract negotiator.
  • Analytical skills are a must.
