How can you make an impact?

The Marketing Manager for I&S works closely with Product Management, Sales, peer Marketing leaders, and cross-functional teams to support the development of effective intervention product and integrated marketing strategies that maximize revenue, maintain targeted margins, ensure consistent product use, foster user communities, and maintain high levels of satisfaction for each owned product across all phases of the life cycle. Additionally, this individual will partner with sales to engage with customers as well as learn from industry experts to build a base of knowledge beyond what can be learned from internal data sources. The Marketing Manager working with the I&S team specifically must be deeply knowledgeable, nimble, and agile to meet the needs of a rapidly evolving literacy and math educational landscape. They must be able to distinguish between a variety of product offerings, manage many projects at one time, execute on tasks to completion, and exercise independent judgment.

This position is remote and within the United States.

We're looking for someone with:
  • Works closely with the Senior Product Manager and Director to execute on end-to-end (product to customer) go-to-market strategy for the I&S portfolio of products.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on future product roadmap decisions and plans.
  • Review and translate market research to understand needs and to integrate them into our marketing strategies and product needs.
  • Develop value proposition and messaging that speaks to customer needs and the product positioning.
  • Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and provide competitive differentiation through sales support and the development of marketing strategies.
  • Represents and communicates the voice of the customer in key business decisions, working cross-functionally with counterparts in Product Management, PMO, Product and Academic Design, Finance, and Sales.
  • Provide hands-on support, pricing, bundling, and positioning for intervention/supplemental products and alternative core solutions to align with Core in state adoption and open territory opportunities.
  • Support the Sales and Consulting teams to impact retention and expansion opportunities as well as developing new logo business when newer versions of existing programs become available in the portfolio.

What you'll need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Education Product Marketing, related sales functions, and/or K-12 intervention/supplemental-specific field experience.
  • Experience with designing and executing effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Passion for making analytics-based decisions.
  • Customer-first orientation.

The pay range for this position is between $85K-$105K annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
