Silotech Group is recruiting for a Senior 5G/LTE Engineer to serve as enterprise engineering support and execution coordination.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Serves as enterprise engineering support and execution coordination, assessing architecture scalability and limitations. Defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for solution compatibility and interoperability.
• Integrates cellular wireless systems/processes/documentation for expanded network connectivity based on operational need and specific use case requirements. Works in concert with Technical Project Leads to facilitate timely corporate and commercial reach back for all technical, sustainment, or operational assistance required to support AT&T deployed cellular solutions.
• Works with the service provider to implement end-user access objectives in concert with other project areas. Provides on-boarding and integration support of commercial services as identified by the program office.
• Designs and implements voice and data cellular networks, such as inter-base 5G/LTE radio access networks (RAN), distributed antenna systems (DAS), and other voice data communications network components. Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning for integration of wired and wireless networks. Designs network transport security measures.
• Researches and recommends cellular communications hardware and software. Establishes and maintains network performance by building configurations and connections and troubleshooting network problems.
• Assesses architecture and existing hardware limitations and designs complex system specifications for hardware/software compatibility. Oversees design of subsystems and integration of total cellular system.
• Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated system deficiencies. Develops technical investigations in systems design. Oversees and consolidates design efforts on multiple major projects. Participates in recurring status meetings and stakeholder discussions.

Experience

• 7 years of 5G/LTE engineering experience or similar role.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Certifications

• Nokia 5G RAN
