Essential Job Duties:
- Lead the development effort of an independent
- Oversee the maintenance and update of current catalogs across multiple businesses, ERP systems and e- commerce platforms. Continually update the catalog with new numbers, supersessions, deletions, and
- Direct the creation of exports for customers and vendors, and other related
- Establish and maintain standards for catalog records.
- Determine and implement strategies for catalog maintenance, including maintenance of records, collections inventories, resolving cataloging conflicts such as duplicate and/or incorrect records and clean- up of imported data from past projects and partnerships.
- Apply Master Data Management principles to complex data structures and to structure disorganized data.
- Map and cross-reference parts for vehicle fitment.
- Deploy data quality standards to identify and address errors and omissions.
- Develop cataloging coverage for gaps.
- Direct team in developing and deploying a Product Information Management Augment, enhance, and enrich product data and structure in a manner that it can readily be published on B2B systems and 3rd party e-commerce platforms.
- Serve all business units, sales organizations, and product managers with cataloging services.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training, and developing, reviewing performance, and administering corrective action for staff.
Requirements
Education Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years cataloging experience in automotive cataloging.
- Includes 5 years+ management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred.
- Commercial experience within the aftermarket industry.
- Ability to think and act entrepreneurially about The ability to translate innovative cataloging ideas into commercial advantage.
- Expert in managing large datasets with tools such as SQL, Power BI, SPSS or Alteryx.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of ACES cataloging standards.
- Experience in structuring unstructured and poorly structured data.
- Ability to manage and be accountable for remote and international teams.
- Participation and potential recognition within the ACPN Community.
- Ability to convey complex concepts succinctly.
