Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform biomedical examination, with prescribing of orthotic and shoe appliances of devices, including design of special shoes.
- Order and prescribe treatment by physical medicine and therapy.
- Admit podiatric patients to the hospital for further treatment or surgery with co-signature by attending physician.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM).
- Graduate from a school of podiatric medicine accredited by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) under the authority of American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
- Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) or the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
- Possess experience as a Podiatrist of at least 2 years with the preceding 3 years.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a podiatrist.
- Must be a US Citizen.
