Role Purpose Statement
Co-ensure the competitiveness and management of all activities in the Customer Service Center (CSC), sharing responsibility for planning, directing and coordinating activities (including purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, HR, finance, quality and service functions to the CSC client) aiming to solve daily problems and achieve the required goals and objectives while developing knowledge, maturity and skills to take over a unit alone.
Main Accountabilities
Business Strategy, Policies and Tools
Suggests and makes contributions to the definition of CSC and regional strategies, participating in meetings and sharing inputs.
Presents and validates plans, through mentoring and/or approval sessions with the GM, ensuring compliance with regional and corporate policies, to implement and execute CSC strategy.
Managing Business
Develop and validate an annual business plan and budget for the CSC by coordinating with relevant interfaces based on regional objectives and strategy, ensuring a comprehensive and aligned business plan and budget that meets regional goals.
Co-implement short- and mid-term planning for products and services by collaborating with Sales & Services and other relevant interfaces, and executing corrective actions as needed, resulting in effective planning and timely adjustments that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Oversee with the GM support the CSC's economic and operate performance by managing and controlling operations efficiently in line with the company's framework and market requirements, initiating corrective actions when necessary to achieve budget targets and maintain operational efficiency.
Deploy human, technical, financial, and material resources optimally by ensuring proper allocation and utilization, leading to maximized resource efficiency and effectiveness.
Validate and ensure work methods at the CSC comply with standards and contracts by implementing company standards and adhering to customer contracts, resulting in consistent compliance with established standards and contractual agreements.
Plan and suggest the GM capital expenditure requests by assessing needs and preparing requests for necessary investments, leading to approved capital expenditures that support operational improvements and growth.
Co-control continuous optimization of processes by identifying areas for improvement, validating and implementing optimization initiatives, resulting in enhanced operational processes and increased efficiency.
Effectively co-manage scope, cost, schedule, budget, and project deliverables through the application of planning, tracking, change control, and risk management techniques to gain maturity to stablish a sustainable CSC management, ensure project success and minimize risks.
Leadership
Ensure with the guidance of the GM that organizational structure and staffing are appropriate, implementing effective organizational strategies and staff management practices with the objective to improved efficiency, productivity, and clarity in roles and responsibilities within the area of responsibility.
Participate in coaching sessions for the GPS process and other career development activities, providing constructive feedback, support, and guidance to enhance team members' performance, skills, and career development opportunities, fostering a more capable and motivated team.
Collaborate with the GM to uphold adherence to all compliance, financial, quality, safety, and critical controls, utilizing audits, corrective measures, and other methods to ensure the continuity and alignment with LSG's established operational standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
In addition, minimum seven years of relevant management/operations experience required
Have requirements and permission to work in a US city and be willing to relocate to the allocated CSC location
Project management experience required
Strong Process Management orientation
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing
Experience in managing multiple departments
Ability to build, develop, and maintain strong cross-functional teams, employee relations and union relations
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
