Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complex ERISA-related assignments for clients in Ohio and nationwide, providing expert legal advice on retirement and welfare plans
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring needs are met and case progress is regularly updated
- Manage multiple complex cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare clear, concise legal documents, including briefs, memos, and reports
- Utilize practice management systems and portals efficiently, staying updated with technological advancements to enhance legal practice
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Active Ohio bar license
- 3+ years' professional ERISA law practice experience
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portals
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services and databases
- Project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
