NOTE: This is primarily an on-site role in City of Industry, CA with flexibility to work remotely 1-2 days per week.
We are seeking a talented, motivated, experienced, and thoughtful Engineering Lead to join our growing Engineering team. As Engineering Lead, you will play a critical role in steering our engineering roadmap, focusing on planning and implementing integrations between various SaaS platforms, as well as leading the development of custom web applications. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on development, with a strong emphasis on collaboration (servant leadership) and innovation.

We are seeking a talented, motivated, experienced, and thoughtful Engineering Lead to join our growing Engineering team. As Engineering Lead, you will play a critical role in steering our engineering roadmap, focusing on planning and implementing integrations between various SaaS platforms, as well as leading the development of custom web applications. This position requires a combination of strategic planning, leadership, and hands-on development, with a strong emphasis on collaboration (servant leadership) and innovation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a no-blame culture of innovation, delivery, and continuous learning.
- Hands-On Development across the Stack: Contribute to development projects, expertly handling tasks in Javascript/Node.js, Python, React or Vue, HTML and CSS, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and deliver value.
- Ship + deliver.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a team or project leadership role.
- Proficient in Node.js, PHP, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL (any variety), HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing complex custom software projects.
- Strong background in the collaborative aspects of successful engineering projects: estimation, stakeholder alignment, creative problem solving.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
- Experience implementing SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and/or DevOps practices a strong plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with .NET a plus.
