SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Manager, Membership & Vendor Relations will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the contract membership, return vendor customer maintenance, and business partner relations to drive accuracy and compliance related to membership eligibility, return valuation, and chargeback processing.

This position reports to the Associate Director, Chargebacks and Returns and has no direct reports. The role is based in Morristown, New Jersey.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Membership Management - Manage and maintain GPO/IDN membership rosters ensuring completeness and eligibility, perform periodic audits on customer identifiers (ex. 340B, DEA, HIN, etc.) to ensure accuracy, communicate/resolve membership discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders, and responsible for the oversight and execution of business processes and decision support to achieve regulatory adherence.
- Vendor Relations - Manage the customer master interface with the Return Goods Vendor to drive accuracy in return processing and valuation, perform quarterly audits of customer master data to ensure ongoing synchronization, identify/resolve customer related discrepancies, provide subject matter expertise to the returns team and perform periodic validation of returns against sales (proof of purchase verifications)
- Customer Relations & Dispute Resolution -Act as the subject matter expert and support internal stakeholders in resolving Chargeback/Return disputes and deductions, collaborate with key accounts to reduce ongoing issues/errors, work closely with the DEA compliance director to uphold regulatory standards for Chargeback processing.
- Class of Trade Management - Responsible for defining policies and procedures for customer trade classification, manage the Class of Trade Schema, and execute audits for accuracy and eligibility.
- Cross Functional Collaboration -- Build and maintain relationships with membership organizations to ensure data access and effective management membership changes, act as a liaison between internal teams and vendors (Return Goods Vendor and iContracts) to ensure business needs are met and operational challenges resolved and collaborate with the matrix organization to understand business activities and needs impacting Chargebacks and Returns.
- Continuous Quality Improvement -- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, coordinate improvement initiatives, manage process documentation, and build/maintain operational dashboards outlining Membership and Vendor activities including key performance indicators.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience contract membership and account management within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of government regulations, DEA compliance, and pharmaceutical contracting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in SAP, iContracts, and EDI transactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experienced with data acquisition, management, and visualization software preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills and process management experience.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to error prevention and correction.
