Responsible for assisting administration in the planning and design of all new, replacement, comprehensive renovation and capital improvement projects in the District. Additional responsibilities include the supervision of project management staff and the oversight and administration of multiple projects in the planning and design phases. Further responsibilities include supervision of project management staff in the construction and close-out phase.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. Preference for AIA Certification or Certified Construction Manager and other related certifications.
Five (5) years of professional or technical experience in educational facilities design and construction.
Must have a valid Florida Drivers License.
