Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Lead to join our engineering team. This role requires a highly skilled individual to lead development projects, collaborate with product owners, third-party vendors, and other engineering functions. The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background in both frontend and backend development, as well as expertise in modern technologies and cloud engineering.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and develop project plans.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to integrate external technologies and services.
  • Work across multiple functions within the engineering team to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend and backend applications using Java, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Architect and implement microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions.
  • Drive cloud engineering initiatives, leveraging GCP and AWS for scalable and secure applications.
  • Ensure the best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and integrate them into projects as appropriate.


Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development and technical leadership
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend frameworks (e.g., Spring, FastAPI, Flask).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture and SOA.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of application security best practices and implementation.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
