Required Qualifications
Graduation from a Physician Assistant's training program approved by the Council on Allied Health Education Accreditation of the American Medical Association. Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Texas or ability to transfer license to Texas. Certification as a Physician Assistant as evidenced by pass the examinations given by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.

Major/Essential Functions
- Supports the values based culture of TTUHSC.
- Provides patient services under direct supervision and responsibility of a Physician or Medical Director.
- Develops implements, and evaluates health maintenance and health promotion services for the child/family by including teaching, counseling, advising, and anticipatory guidance.
- Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in the provision of continuity of care.
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as infectious, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infectious.
- Employs screening and diagnostic strategies in the development of diagnosis.
