Your New Role: Making an Impact from Day One

As our newest team member, you'll hit the ground running and be busy from day one! With a large state-of-the-art office and full on-site optical services, you'll have all the resources you need to provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Ophthalmologist at our practice, you will be responsible for providing primary eye care, management of diseases, pre and post-operative care. Our office boasts top-notch facilities, including a state-of-the-art optical department conveniently located on-site.

Located in North Conway, New Hampshire, Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a friendly team setting and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Must hold a degree in either osteopathic or allopathic medicine.
  • License/Certifications: Current and valid state medical license required or ability to obtain prior to employment. Board certification in practice specialty as indicated. Active and unrestricted DEA license, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Experience: N/A
  • Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation and terminology requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, other physicians, supervisors and other staff
  • Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination
  • Ability to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections and measure results
  • Ability to respond the changing workload based on patient census and to direct, supervise and evaluate care in order to individualize medical care provided to patients
  • Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations
  • Proficient computer skills
