- Will perform a variety of technical treatment procedures including advanced therapy procedures.
- Assist with the Daily Technical Operations resulting in enhance communication by elevating potential concerns and providing general oversight to their assigned work area.
- Will lead by example with their coworkers showing positive communication and dedication to superior customer service and satisfaction.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Will have a Bachelor's degree.
- Is dedicated to superior customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Performs various radiation therapy procedures and treatments under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, equipment troubleshooting and machine warm ups.
- Participates with new hire orientation, training and development and acts as a positive leader and subject matter expert for both staff and students.
- Demonstrates the ALARA method in all aspects of treating a patient.
- Creates and sustains a service-oriented culture that promotes partnership and teamwork.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Radiation Therapy required.
- Registered Radiation Therapist by the state of Florida required.
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy required.
- 3 years of progressive proven leadership and technical excellence working as a Staff Radiation Therapist.
- Complete knowledge of all treatment procedures.
- Current BLS required.
