How You Will Make a Difference
MountainSeed works with over 10% of the Banks and Credit Unions throughout the U.S. This role will specialize in winning real estate or loan sale listings from Banks and Credit Unions. The individual will list properties or loans but will also have responsibility for ensuring a transaction occurs on each listing. The individual will possess knowledge of current market and industry trends related to the CRE sector inclusive of office, multifamily, hospitality, retail, flex/R&D/life sciences and industrial sectors. They will ultimately possess responsibility for end-to-end management of each transaction, ensuring positive client experience with the selling Bank or Credit Union and the investor or buyer. They will serve as the main point of contact between property owners and prospective buyers and ensure a fair deal for all parties.
In This Role, You'll Get To:
The Broker is responsible for making sure the deal team does an effective job serving the client in its efforts to:
1. Understand the opportunity quickly and completely.
2. Win the listing from the selling institution.
3. Build an investor or buyer pool based on their knowledge of active buyers and MountainSeed's list and relationships with investors.
4. Perform the appropriate internal research regarding comparable transactions, valuations, market demographics, etc.
5. Work with the team to build clear and accurate financial model for the opportunity.
6. Compile the information into a market-leading Offering Memorandum that Is effective in garnering interest in the deal.
7. Facilitate a timely approval and closing of each transaction by negotiating transaction terms, performing and facilitating due diligence for transactions, and coordinating the closing process, including obtaining necessary documentation to appropriately support the transaction process.
Obtain Listings - The individual is expected to hold meetings with prospective institutions that might sell real estate or loans. These calls will be scheduled for the Salesperson by MountainSeed's team. The individual should be able to communicate effectively and win opportunities to represent MountainSeed listing properties or loans.
Seek Out Additional Clients - The individual will be expected to develop relationships with various real estate companies and other sources to find and meet the needs of potential clients. The Salesperson should be able to maintain effective senior-level relationships with past, current and prospective clients, and to generate confidence and respect of clients.
Real Estate Salesperson Skills - This individual must possess both social and analytical skills. They will need to build a solid trust basis with each of their clients, co-workers and local real estate companies. They also need strong organizational skills since they will manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

This opportunity is for you if you have/are:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, real estate, finance etc. MBA or CFA is a plus
- Minimum 7-10 years of current experience in Commercial Real Estate
- Knowing common capital markets products, programs and procedures
- Understanding deal structuring and credit underwriting
- Applying sales principles and techniques to promote and sell your company's services
- Possess self-motivated, team-oriented, and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines and workload of team support personnel
- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills
- Able to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative information
- Able to manage a challenging and busy work pace and balance workload related to business development, assignment executions, and keeping up to date on the market and CM trends
- Increase professional competence through continuing education and professional training

- Computer literate: fluency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel analysis required.
