The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing construction of projects that we have successfully negotiated and taken under contract. The PM will help plan, budget, procure materials, assemble the submittal packages, as well as review all pertinent information that the general contractors share with us to aid in completing the project. The PM will also work with field personnel to make sure that the work installed is within our budget and installed to NETWORK standards, including jobsite progress meetings to represent the company.

Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) is a construction industry trade association representing Merit Shop contractors in Connecticut. As a Chapter of ABC National, our membership of over 200 members is afforded an effective voice in the political system at the local, state, and federal levels. Core Responsibilities:
- Ground up, design build, and renovation expertise.
- Review contracts and scopes of work for commercial construction to secure leadership approval. Review contract for accuracy.
- Attend post-bid interviews.
- Price AWAs, bulletins, PCOs.
- Alert any special items or concerns of contract. language; execute and return contract.
- Review estimate for correct phase codes, areas, etc.
- Make award decisions for vendors.
- Provide project budget for SOV.
- Build relationship with PM for the GC or CM and service clients.
- Schedule and plan Kick-Off meetings for new projects.
- Ability to understand, create and modify construction schedules.
- Schedule and attend jobsite progress meetings as well as subcontractor meetings.
- Provide submittals and shop drawings; run plans.
- Manage construction documents such as job bulletins, RFIs and Change Orders.
- Manage purchasing + delivery of jobsite materials.
- Review invoices from all purchases.
- Price and negotiate change orders.
- Prepare billing information and ensure it is current and complete.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction accounting practices.
- Manage project close-out including punch lists and all closeout documents.
- Schedule and prepare data for Post-Construction meetings.
- Manage all aspects of the construction phases of multiple projects, simultaneously.
- Oversee and train Project Engineer reports to assist with career development.
- Prepare certain job if asked for ABC Award of Excellence with Business Development .
- Attend networking functions to promote the company.
