We are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager who will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the end-to-end accounts payable process. The ideal candidate is expected to have a deep sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, possess solid operational accounting background, drive positive change across the organization, and enhance partnerships between various Four Hands stakeholder groups.

In This Role
  • Leading and developing the AP team, including delivery of business metrics; employee training and development; managing group workload and establishing priorities
  • Drive acceleration of the current AP close process by identifying and leading the implementation of automation and streamlining of the monthly/quarterly close processes
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify problems and gaps and propose solutions to improve processes including opportunities for automating manual processes or activities
  • Partner and aid implementation of systems including new ERP, and leverage technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies, streamline accounts payable and improve the employee experience
  • Establish internal controls and appropriate accounts payable related procedures, including evaluation of processes and controls for compliance and efficiencies
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in how to run an accounts payable team in a high growth environment where changes are constant
  • Support invoice processing, invoice troubleshooting, and general invoicing and PO system support
  • Prepare and perform payment runs (ACH, Check, Credit Card, Wire)
  • Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with ad hoc projects as needed

THE IDEAL PERSON
  • Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with increasing levels of responsibilities
  • Experience with sales and use tax required
  • Experience with escheatment preferred
  • International accounting experience preferred
  • Positive attitude, ability to work well and fast under pressure, exceptional customer service
  • Results driven with a high sense of urgency, taking ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools
  • Intermediate-level experience using Excel, including the ability to work with complex tables and X-look-ups
  • Must be familiar with the Procure to Pay process flow
