We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Director to join the team in our M&A Insurance Advisory practice.

YOUR TEAM.

The M&A Insurance Advisory practice works closely with insurance companies to provide enhanced financial and tax due diligence in support of their underwriting of representation and warranty insurance. We also offer a broad depth of experience analyzing the accounting, valuation, and tax aspects of insurance claims, and provide advice and testimony in circumstances involving both domestic and international insurance disputes.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Support Value360's growing M&A Insurance Advisory practice
  • Review financial due diligence reports, acquisition agreements, and representation and warranty insurance (RWI) policies
  • Facilitate virtual interviews with technical accounting experts and diligence providers
  • Effectively communicate diligence findings in written deliverables, clearly articulating the basis for any recommendations
  • Provide timely and comprehensive responses to clients regarding accounting and valuation considerations
  • Analyze financial and accounting documentation related to RWI claims
  • Conduct GAAP research
YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience providing financial and accounting expert services in the context of mergers and acquisitions or RWI claims.
  • CPA or CFA preferred.
  • CFF or CFE designations are a plus.
  • Experience assessing the sufficiency of financial diligence procedures in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Significant case experience regarding complex transactions and accounting considerations.
  • Experience managing multiple complex engagements simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Significant flexibility of work schedule to meet client needs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and root cause determination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to extract useful information from large sets of unorganized or incomplete data.
  • Ability to lead a team in a deadline-driven environment. A natural self-starter and independent thinker.
  • Action-oriented, decisive approach, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure the deliverables are met on time with high quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
