POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible within geographic region for providing clear direction and leadership to regional management and restaurant teams when it comes to living the Qdoba values, helping the brand to thrive, and growing restaurant sales and profits. Focuses on developing a people and guest-centric culture that consistently delivers excellent guest service while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education - High School, GED, or Bachelor's degree.
Experience - 5+ years of experience in multi-unit leadership; restaurant operations experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities - Excellent oral and written English communication skills, presentation skills, planning skills, influencing skills, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations. Strong analytical and systems development skills. Must be a strategic thinker and administratively sound and detail-oriented. Proficient knowledge of personal computers and related software applications (Microsoft Office). Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
Physical Conditions - Ability to speak/hear clearly in person and on the telephone. Ability to type on a computer keyboard. Ability to travel approximately 15% - 20% of the time as business needs. Ability to lift at least 30lbs.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead 3-5 District Managers and 18-30 restaurant locations.
- Partners with corporate and regional teams to ensure the acquisition, development, and retention of qualified, talented management teams who deliver on the Qdoba brand's vision and values; facilitates an environment of respect and trust.
- Creates and reinforces a guest-centric culture, holds regional leadership and restaurant teams accountable for continuously delivering on and improving the guest experience by monitoring guest experience reports and consulting with regional management for targeted action plans.
- Empowers management to lead their teams in delivering on all aspects of the guest experience including food quality and safety, employee friendliness, problem resolution, cleanliness, and order accuracy. Travels regularly in the region to observe restaurant operations and the guest experience; recognizes strong performance and provides actionable feedback on areas as needed.
- Partners with regional marketing on special promotions or programs to promote the Qdoba brand within the region. Networks with community leaders to establish relationships coordinates Company representation in community events and stays informed of local competitor activities.
- Builds an engaged regional management and restaurant team through effective leadership, mentoring and coaching. Motivates and inspires the team to achieve high performance by being a role model and providing regular performance assessment and feedback.
- Oversees workforce assessment and succession planning in the region. Role models and embraces the utilization of all Qdoba systems, processes, and tools; ensures operations are in compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations. Listens actively to feedback from field and business partners; leads problem resolution.
- Ensures effective training and development of management and employees consults with the regional management team on training needs, partners with management to identify development needs, and implements development plans.
