Leidos has an exciting opportunity for a Standards & Evaluations Specialist at Fort Bragg, NC. Position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Applies expert knowledge of Air Force Career Enlisted Aviator (CEA) Standards & Evaluations procedures
- Ensures CEAs are current & qualified in accordance with Air Force Instructions (AFI), to include AFI 11-202 V1-3, and other regulating documents
- Establishes, evaluates and enforces standards to guarantee safe and highly effective mission accomplishment
- Manages flight records, evaluations and examinations ensuring the unit is equipped with highly proficient CEAs prepared to support commander directives; experience with PEX application desired.
- Direct liaison between the commander and higher headquarters, advises the commander on policy related to the initiation and execution of unusual, sensitive and complex issues and associated problems impacting the execution of the unit's operational mission.
- Works directly with customers and team members to execute MAJCOM Standards & Evaluations program to include developing checklists and standardizing unit programs.
- Augment the Standards & Evaluations team during airborne and/or ground evaluations.
- Augment the Standards & Evaluations team and able to represent the customer in daily, weekly and monthly staff meetings.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts/Sciences (or related field) and/or equivalent formal military training and 4-8 years of relevant experience.
- Prior CEA experience/ability to pass flight physical highly desired;
Qualifications
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, be eligible to gain and maintain a TS clearance with SCI/G/HCS/TK and be willing to submit to a polygraph.
- Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Must have the ability to work independently and function as part of a dynamic team.
- Availability to respond to short-notice contingencies in support of customer requirements to include holidays, weekends, and/or irregular times and shifts based on operations tempo, or exercises.
- Individual must be available for travel, approx. 10%.
