Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification with required endorsements- English Language Arts Composite and ESL-Supplemental
- 3 years teaching experience on secondary campus preferred. Demonstrated student success as measured by district standards (i.e. STARR, District Benchmarks, Curriculum Assessments, etc)

Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in developing curriculum activities and TEKS-based assessments
- Ability to plan and provide small group intervention for students identified as at risk in core subject areas.
- Assist teachers in working with at-risk students, LEP students, and other special needs students
- Provide focused, sustained training that assists teachers in meeting data-driven, collaboratively determined instructional goals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills at the campus level
- Serve as a resource for classroom teachers with strategies, plans, and materials
- Provide one-on-one teacher assistance in content and program areas.
- Work with administrative staff to develop, coordinate, and deliver professional growth activities in content and program areas.
- Participate in curriculum development and revisions in content and program areas.
- Interface with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure program coordination, implementation in content and program areas and student success.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.
