JOB PURPOSE:
This position oversees the general management of all outside sales personnel and the planning for all outside sales initiatives throughout a NAPA region. The OSS Regional Manager will collaborate with other regional managers, store managers, outside sales personnel and on recruiting, increasing sales, training of sales staff, and promoting company policies, procedures, and programs. The person in this role drives daily leadership and growth that promotes and enables NAPA to be the dominant parts supplier in the market.

DUTIES:
- Oversee all outside sales personnel, operations, and initiatives within the region.
- Lead strategic, operational, and business development planning.
- Plan, coordinate and implement employee/professional development activities.
- Maintain efficient and effective sales operations.
- Ensure outside sales personnel are following policies and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee cost control and financial management.
- Guide recruitment, orientation, and development of new outside sales personnel.
- Coach, train and assist outside sales personnel.
- Provide sound advice and monitor all aspects of sales operations.
- Develop, update and execute annual budgets and action plans.
- Communicate company expectations.
- Review monthly financials with outside sales personnel, highlight sales and gross margin opportunities.

- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to lead teams to achieve goals.
- Sound decision making skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire work shift.
- Willing to travel regularly, at times over night.
- Capable of moving merchandise of up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to move heavy equipment using moving aids.
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively.
