We are inviting motivated accountants interested in working in a fast-paced, non-profit healthcare space. You will have the opportunity to learn new systems and areas and progress your skill-set and career goals working directly under a CFO/CPA mentor. Your progress and assignments will only be limited by your own ambition within this fast-paced, but family-like, environment!
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and assist with the month-end close process.
Prepare and post monthly journal entries.
Maintain prepaid, accruals and other schedules.
Conduct monthly and quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Record and reconcile cash, credit card and insurance payments.
Analyze financial statements and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analyses.
Prepare for the annual audit and work with outside CPAs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting
5+ years' experience in general accounting, CPA preferred
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and follow-up
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong Excel and computer skills and strong accounting systems knowledge in at least one product
Investment, healthcare, IT, real estate, purchasing, project or insurance experience preferred
