The Logistics Manager will play an integral role in driving excellence in the management of all Logistics functions related to the movement, storge and importation of Moet Hennessy USA products. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading the change and continuous improvement within the logistics scope, while driving third-party logistics providers including warehousing, transportation, brokerage, and drayage activities. This role will support the Company's short- and long-term objectives in terms of growth, level of service, cost, and agility.

Drive Continuous Improvement and Projects
- Drive continuous improvement:
- Proactively identify improvement opportunities (processes, organization, reporting and systems)
- Implement changes to adapt to the evolving Logistics context, support company strategy and internal clients' requirements
- Leverage new projects and systems
- Lead ad-hoc Logistic projects:
- Support the vision and goals of MHUSA as related to the Logistical functions
- Work closely with 3PL, IT and related Departments to ensure effective change management
- Further collaboration with other departments to deliver valuable contributions to the Operations department and to the Company
Manage MHUSA 3PL and Logistics Vendors to Deliver Targeted Service Level and Costs
- Lead the RFQ process and 3PL / vendor contracts and rates for brokerage, pier drayage, warehousing, trucking activity, and other freights
- Coordinate periodic reviews of relationship with all 3PLs & vendors; monitor and control level of service and Logistics costs for 3PLs and all vendors
- Be responsible for the logistics cost and budget: contribute to Budget elaboration and cost projection, monitor invoice coding and payment process, track actual spent vs. budget, identify gaps, and define remedy actions if vital
- Act as liaison between 3PL / vendors and all members of MH's supply chain, Finance, and other partners
- Anticipate spending dedicated time (time to be determined) at Primary 3PL location for on-site support and process improvement implementations
Manage MHUSA Importation, Warehousing & Transportation
- Secure Importation of Goods, coordinating with Maisons, US customs, brokers, steamship lines and freight forwarders
- Coordinate Warehousing activities including inventory management and reconciliation with 3PL WMS and SAP, capacity management, traceability, and co-packing services
- Handle MHUSA transportation including trucking activity (Bailment & Transfers between warehouse) and spot Quote (Returns)
- Create, file, and complete claims vis--vis between Customs Brokers, Steamship Lines, and Insurance Carriers, as well as export returns from warehouse to Maisons
- Watch Regulatory and Legal evolutions that might impact the business (FDA renewals, CBMA); build and maintain network to gain exposure to relevant standard processes
Develop, Update & Monitor the Logistics Control Tower
- Craft the Logistics Control tower: identify and implement relevant key performance indicators and reporting to support operational excellence and a data-driven approach (visibility on inbound / outbound, logistics capacity monitoring, costs)
- Update and monitor key performance indicator and reporting to anticipate risk, identify gaps & opportunities to support decision-making
Management & Leadership
- Oversee performance, training, and development of Logistics Analyst
- Ensure effective communication and alignment of department and company goals
Sustainability
- Drive sustainability initiatives for Logistics to reach Moet Hennessy's objective of reducing greenhouse gas emission by 50% by 2030
- Foster collaboration with service providers to reach that goal
Profil
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations;
Professional Experience:
- 5-7 years of progressive Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations experience, preferable in the luxury consumer goods or U.S. wines and spirits industries
Practical/Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of Importing and Distribution (3PL and/or Transportation)
- Understanding of SAP within the Sales/Distribution SD or Finance FI modules
- Demonstrated ability working with Operations, Logistics and/or Accounting systems
- Strong MS Office (excel) understanding and skills
- High-level of attention to detail and follow through
- Demonstrated success communicating to and influencing cross-functional team members, including senior leaders
- Strong analytical skills to support problem solving and making data-driven decisions
