The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance and expanding the company's market presence within a specific geographic area. This individual will develop and execute regional sales strategies, manage the regional sales team, and ensure that revenue targets are met. The Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in fostering long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales and other senior leadership to align regional sales goals with overall company objectives.
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aimed at achieving revenue growth and expanding market share within the assigned territory.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including expansion into new geographic areas or product lines.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals, including account executives and sales support staff, to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the regional sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers within the region, ensuring their needs are met and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Act as a strategic partner to major clients within the region, offering insights and solutions to support their business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the region to inform sales strategies and adjust tactics as needed.
- Report regularly on regional sales performance, market conditions, and growth opportunities to the Vice President of Sales and other members of the executive team.
- Collaborate with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment and support for regional sales initiatives.
- Work closely with the finance department to develop accurate regional sales forecasts and manage the regional sales budget.
- Drive margin improvement initiatives within the region, ensuring that pricing strategies are both competitive and profitable.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the building materials or roofing industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and meeting or exceeding revenue targets within a specific region or territory.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex market data and make informed strategic decisions.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
