Arcadis seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Autonomous Vehicle Advisory Leader to join our team and lead the North American community of practice within Arcadis. As an Autonomous Vehicle Advisory Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving in the securing, development and implementation of autonomous vehicle-related projects. Your primary responsibility is to collaborate with a team of engineers, coordinate with clients, and ensure the successful delivery of our solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong client relationship management.

Role Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring that solutions meet or exceed expectations.
  • Support the ongoing development of Arcadis' New Mobility Value Propositions. Will be able to create new VPs to respond to this new and dynamic market.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client communication, addressing concerns, and providing regular growth and project updates.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in autonomous and automation technology.
  • Provide technical guidance to the engineering team, ensuring the development of innovative and effective solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including architects, planners, engineers, and data analysts.
  • Stay informed about local, regional, and national regulations related to autonomous vehicles.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure that all engineering designs and construction meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging professional development and growth.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness in project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical vehicle industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in a transport, engineering or sustainability consulting role.
  • Candidate will be widely recognized in the autonomous vehicle industry as being a thought leader with a wide network of connections.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex infrastructure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electric vehicle technology, charging systems, and associated infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving industry and technology landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering or Planning, preferably with a focus on electric vehicles or transport related technology or related fields.
  • Globally recognized leader in the autonomous vehicle field.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
