The DarkStar Group is seeking a Configuration Manager with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. Below is an overview of the project, as well as information on our company, our benefits, and our $25,000 referral program.

THE PROGRAM
The DarkStar Group is a member of 100% of the winning teams for the largest technology program in the Intel Community. We've been supporting this customer on many different sub-projects of this program since our founding in 2013. THE PROJECT
The Sponsor's mission is to provide quality services that facilitate seamless software development lifecycle and API and Gateway with modern data repository services. The Sponsor requires support for planning future architectures, infosec assurance and accreditation, Configuration Management and System Engineering for Sponsor's legacy and future complex portfolio of data tools.

THE ROLE

The Contractor shall introduce and implement Configuration Management (CM) processes according to Sponsor guidelines. The Contractor shall support the full life cycle of the Sponsor's CM Database (CMDB); scheduling meetings; developing meeting agendas. The Contractor shall track, monitor and provide the status of Change Requests (CRs), Discrepancy Reports (DRs) and Request for Changes (RFCs) in coordination with the Sponsor's IT Operations organization. The Contractor shall provide follow-up coordination and status for action items or issues. The Contractor shall process on a regular cycle, discrepancy reports, requirements, build reports, investigation reports, request for changes, or operation change requests. The Contractor shall assist in changes to the CM process, establish and maintain both new and existing schedules. The Contractor shall support project teams in defining, documenting, and changing and baselining project configuration items. The Contractor shall ensure overall Web sites are properly formatted, contain updated information, and have the same common look and feel. The Contractor shall serve as the Enterprise Scrum Lead for the organization.

Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with software configuration management documentation (CM Processes, SOPs, CM meeting minutes and Agendas).
  • Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence sites, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and creating organization roadmaps for technical projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and creating organization master project schedule(s).
  • Demonstrated experience developing, managing or operating program governance boards.
  • Demonstrated experience with protocols for access administration, system deployments.

Desired Skills (Optional)
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting problems and document discrepancies.
  • Demonstrated experience submitting system status and updates to scheduling, coordinating across organizations for system releases or outages.
  • Demonstrated experience tracking and modifying CI's, incidents, and work orders using ServiceNow.
