Intermediate Level Systems Engineer - mPower Software Services

Essential Job Functions:
Troubleshoot high-level technical and non-technical issues
Troubleshoot and resolve performance problems
Provide software support for a real-time air traffic management system
Ability to create and maintain system architecture and troubleshooting documentation
Prepare plans and assessments, such as management engineering plans, integrated support plans and implementation
plans
Flexible schedule is essential
Travel only when required
Experience in evaluating, testing, deploying and maintaining both custom developed and third party software upgrades
Research and documents analysis in technical reports and presents findings and recommendations to meet program
requirements
Anticipate and addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms
Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases
Knowledge of XML technologies

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field is preferred) + 5 yrs. related
experience
Experience with performing engineering and/or scientific research, studies and analyses of specified technological,
scientific, programmatic and operational issues.
Demonstrate strength in solving complex problems
