- **Hybrid Opportunity within the Mountain Region
Reporting directly to the MaineHealth Medical Group's Director of Physician and APP Recruitment, the Manager role is responsible for the full spectrum of physician and APP recruitment activities, overseeing the entire recruitment strategic and operational process on a regional, system-wide and service-line basis. The Manager directly manages their own physician and APP searches, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, strategic planning, metrics and ensuring alignment with MaineHeath Medical Group priorities and requirements. The Manager of Physician and APP Recruitment is responsible for the recruitment and retention of primary care and specialty physicians and APPs in both our inpatient and outpatient settings. - Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- License/Certifications: Physician/Provider Recruitment Professional (CPRP) Certification from the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of combined recruitment, HR and other relevant experience. Provider recruitment and healthcare experience as well as prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
- Successful track record and high level of familiarity with all aspects of full-cycle recruiting.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational, time-management, presentation and problem-solving skills, experience and high familiarity with applicant tracking systems
- Must have experience using data analysis to inform strategic planning.
- Ability to effectively interact with physicians, APPs, candidates, leadership and other staff at all levels of the system, in addition to external vendors and parties.
- Must be operationally driven, have a track record of effectiveness in identifying process efficiencies and holding team members accountable for following departmental procedures and other processes.
- Demonstrated experience in working with matters involving confidentiality and diplomacy, and experience with managing tight deadlines and competing priorities.
