The Service Project Manager will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees. Through detailed planning and coordination, this role ensures that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This position will also work closely with the company's management team in a decision-support capacity.

The Service Project Manager will oversee, guide, and manage the work of contractors, vendors, suppliers, and employees. Through detailed planning and coordination, this role ensures that the team provides consistent, high-quality, cost-effective, and timely deliverables and products for multiple projects. This position will also work closely with the company's management team in a decision-support capacity.
Responsibilities
- Manage and assist with project layout and coordination.
- Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction.
- Preparation of weekly/monthly progress reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Provide guidance and direction for estimators.
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Resolve conflicts and delays to meet project construction goals.
- Responsible for all financial reporting, tracking, and projection of all labor, material, job expenses, and changes for each project assigned.
- Maintain all submittal, drawing, correspondence, and change logs.
- Submit, review for added cost, file, and log all RFI's.
- Track major deliveries to job sites.
- Organize and submit job closeout documentation (as-builts, O&M's).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of applicable experience in the electrical construction industry
- Previous experience as an electrical engineer or an electrical supervisor preferred
- Must be capable of leading a team of up to 20 electricians
- In-depth understanding of electrical infrastructure
- Experience with Electrical / Power Systems such as UPS, Switchgear, and Generators
- Experience managing electrical installation projects a plus
- Customer Service Driven
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and adept at learning new software
- Detail oriented
