Our Senior Project Manager (SPM) with our Justice Management & Technology team is a self-motivated individual who enjoys a fast-paced, rapidly growing working environment. This SPM serves justice, public safety, and public sector clients, leads teams and contribute subject matter expertise in the assessment, specification, design, and implementation of technology solutions, such as:
  • Integration Justice Information Systems
  • State central criminal records repository applications
  • Vehicle Registration and Licensing applications
  • Credentialling Applications
  • Court applications
  • Prosecution and Defense applications
  • Local Law Enforcement Applications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with strategic planning and large-scale information technology acquisitions for courts and other participants in the legal community.
  • Evaluate and monitor implementation programs and projects to provide guidance, advice, and formal reports about the efforts to our clients.
  • Perform onsite surveys of existing systems and organizations with an emphasis on data-gathering and potential system improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare technical reports, present findings, and options to clients
  • Engage in project management, change management, and business analysis for multiple projects. Assure quality of project deliverables and client satisfaction
  • Develop and write detailed project management plans with work breakdown structures and schedules
  • Establish a project plan and schedule between clients, company technical and project teams. Oversee and coordinate the planning, resources, and direction of work activity and deliverables
  • Ensure project and program communications support to program and projects, provide clear information, and keep stakeholders abreast of program developments
  • Provide hands-on management and execution of project tasks as needed
  • Share and train any technical knowledge and expertise with peers - exhibit a positive attitude, exchanging ideas, concepts, and processes that create a strong team approach to problem-solving and client solutions
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Directly supervises up to 5 MCP project employees
  • Indirectly supervises 10 MCP project employees and client staff as necessary
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred)
  • 10 years' work experience with project management, change management, business analysis, and technology transformation
  • 5 years' work experience with the implementation of public safety technologies
  • 5 years' facilitation experience with proven problem-solving capabilities and experience that includes budgetary responsibilities
  • Ability to assess client situations, identify needs, present concepts, develop specifications and recommendations, deliver solutions, and promote teamwork
  • Expertise in the use of change management methodologies such as ADKAR
  • Extensive expertise in the use of project management methodologies reflected in the PMBOK
  • Able to adapt to client methodologies including standard Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid variants.
  • Valid Driver's License with the ability to drive to client site(s)
  • Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Contract Management Systems; Microsoft Office; Project Management Software, Microsoft Project.

COMPENSATION:

The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
