Louis Vuitton is seeking a Distribution Planning Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This team member will be responsible for owning inventory to support the sales in their network of stores they will have a focus on Shoes & Ready to Wear.
The Distribution Planning Manager will use their analytical skills and market knowledge to supervise distribution, proactively chip in to meeting sales targets, and ensure appropriate availability rate with optimal stock level. More specifically, this position will lead all aspects of their specific store network, RTW Optimization, support of the showroom, and store forecast optimization. The optimal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Python and analytical skills.

As a Distribution Planning Manager you will complete action plans to improve processes, methods and tools as well as ensure coordination with Merchandising, Retail, Finance, & Logistics. You will allocate products according to priorities, opportunities, and constraints in terms of transportation, and shipping. Control product availability, identify and report the shortages/ stocks excess risks and communicate inventory to stores and merchandising teams.
We are eager to speak to professionals who are team spirited, great communicators and client centric. The ideal candidate for this role has expertise in inventory planning and analysis, as well as supply chain and merchandising allocation. Expert in understanding and experience coding in Python working with Power Bi, Tableau and Excel. Fluent in English, French and Spanish is a plus.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $115,000 - $120,000 annually plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.
The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.

This role will:
- Supply to sales budget construction via the store operations
- Define and communicate the target stock level and model stock for each Store / Market / Subsidiary according to life cycle and encouraged service level
- Ensure the inventory deployment based on demand and inventory level in coordination with the demand manager
- Find opportunities of product rebalancing in distribution network
- Plan and coordinate new product launches and end of life product strategies in agreement with the Retail and Merchandising departments
